I heart photobooths, they have a certain punk rock je ne sais quoi and they are mass fun for birthday gifts, boring afternoons, et cetera. This site has an exhibit of photobooth pix, several articles (including a history) and a couple of super artsy special exhibits. Neat.

Rad flash site that takes you through each decade of the 20th century, focusing on styles, fashion, and most specifically, shoes! I think it's developed as a prototype for some content provider but it's fascinating in its own right, from the button-up boots of the early 1900's to the vampy pumps of the fifties to the heinous Sketchers of the 1990's.
