Hepburn Fans Against Jennifer Love Hewitt
Wednesday, November 3, 1999 | 09:49 a.m.
I love Audrey Hepburn. I was Audrey Hepburn for Halloween and it was totally fun getting to walk around with a big black hat and tons of pearls and elbow-length gloves, so I can understand the desire to be Audrey Hepburn. However, what I cannot understand is the network executives who decided that Jennifer Love Hewitt was the perfect person to re-create Audrey Hepburn for a biopic. This site is quite angry about this, as evidenced by remarks like "Billy Wilder claimed [about Audrey] that, "This girl single-handedly could make bosoms a thing of the past!" JLH is single-handedly making them a thing of the present."

Snerk.

The movie is airing in November. Boy is it gonna suck. With this and her rapidly plummeting "drama" on FOX, I predict that we won't be hearing a lot from Ms. Hewitt for a while. You can only hope.

Five seconds after I typed my plea below, I was checkin out drunktank (of which tiara.org is a member, mostly because I'm sleeping with the proprietor) and found it. Although it loads rillllly slowly nowadays. Still full of excellent mp3's though. Upload some today!

Where's a girl to find decent indie rock MP3's these days?

  • Kill Rock Stars has golden oldies and new favorites from Sleater-Kinney, Unwound, Mocket, Bikini Kill, Elliott Smith y mas more.
  • K: Cadallaca, SubDebs, Make*Up, Enemymine, IQU
  • Indyrock (hi Rosco) has Fugazi, Rodan, etc. (new stuff up frequently).
  • literature on mp3's! this rules, although it's mostly Anne Rice and friggin Henry Rollins.
  • OnMP3.com is an MP3 weblog which should serve all yr other MP3-needing needs.
I lost the link to this really awesome indiepunk MP3 archive that had stuff by the Prima Donnas and, like, the Electrolettes and Lois and a bunch of obscure bands. If anyone knows what I'm talking about (it was really slick and used a lot of ASP if I remember correctly) please email it to me!

Bruce Willis Numerology

"Mr. Willis needs a 7, 8, 10, and 11 and 13 to complete his potentially dangerous thirteenth number-related film credit, which would give him perhaps unlimited power in hollywood and indeed this fragile planet we call earth." Thanks to Alex, who followed my directions very speedily.

Okay, Ethan Embry, Mark Lindsey Chapman, Allison Folland or Oded Fehr I'll accept. Bruce Willis and Matt Damon, no.

Might I add that I hate Bruce Willis. I'm still boycotting the Sixth Sense so I don't have to look at his jowly bloated face for two straight hours. I spent quite a while trying to find an "I Hate Bruce Willis" page but sadly, I was unable. Please look for one and email it to me.

I found this in Yahoo!'s Furniture Humor section. Insert "the internet is scary" sardonic comment here.

Mucho fancy post-modern e-commerce. For all your paper clothing and conceptual furniture needs. Complete with artiste interviews that read like something out of Glamorama. Pretentious eurocrap or cutting-edge funkee stylee? You decide.

Girls, if you choose to wear a brassiere, shopping for the right one is very important. Make sure you buy a big one so you can learn the correct way to stuff your bra. And watch out for those lightning storms.
