I never get tired of making fun of kooks
Monday, November 1, 1999 | 01:35 p.m.
I must say that I agree that "It's a pity that religious and academic word is a crime against Nature and enslaves Children." But I wouldn't say that "Anyone saying that Jesus and his Jewish father had something to do with my birth, is a damn evil liar."

It's the inexplicable object of the week archive!

Damn, they're up to week 81 already. My favorites include Meat Recipes for the 60's, this fine child care center and the evil 5 bucks.

She rocks the house left and she rocks the house right. Stella Marrs is an artiste from Oly, WA, who started making postcards in the early 80's to support her art habit. She combines retro images with feminist slogans and environmental themes, and god damn do they rule. There was a super-cool interview with her in BUST magazine, which detailed that she used to play drums using leopard print heels as sticks! Woo!

Yeah, okay, so I own the X-Files action figures and the X-Files lunchbox. But I do think these likenesses of Mulder & Scully are going just a little too far.

Ouija Boards: Pro and Con
Monday, November 1, 1999 | 11:40 a.m.
"One night my ex-boyfriend and some of his family were playing with a ouija board when it asked them to put it away. They ignored the request and got it really mad. All of a sudden the answering machine turned on, then his step-dad's pager went off they looked at it and it said 666. At this point they really got freaked out and decided to put it away. About a week later they began to play with it again the ouija board was as friendly as ever, just like nothing had ever happened. Some advice I would give is never make the ouija board mad."

See what cutting edge words just got added to the dictionary. Now use "goulash democracy" and "magnetar" in the same sentence.

You know this page has been memed around too much when parodies of it start surfacing.
